Making sure even our furry friends are safe on the ward

Good Afternoon 

Whilst on duty today Officers from Ravensbury and St Helier wards were flagged down by a a couple in Morden Rec who had found an abandoned kitten hiding in some bushes. 

The poor little guy was extremely frightened and very fast! But after a few attempts we were able to catch him in his carrier and zip him in so he was safe and secure.

We took him to the pet vet to get checked over and to see if he was chipped but no chip could be found. He was healthy and was confirmed to be a little boy. 

We named him Charlie and while at the vets a couple came forward to offer a home to little Charlie :)
